Our latest chapter has been established in Jackson, Mississippi. Orthopaedic Surgeons at Capital Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center surgeons are anxious to go deeper into patient-center care with new technology tools and also support local athletes throughout the region with resources established within the chapter.

Capital Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center was established April 2, 1990. The clinic was founded with the plan to provide quality Orthopaedic care for patients in Jackson and the surrounding areas. Today 10 orthopaedic surgeons offer a complete array of care for orthopaedic disorders. Dr. Hendrix and his colleagues believe this chapter offers a great chance to allow others to join them in securing the best care possible for athletes and active adults of all ages.
Dr. Hendrix was determined to organize a chapter to offer education and research support for this team in Jackson after experience these benefits first-hand during his fellowship year with Dr Mike Kissenberth and the staff at the Hawkins Foundation in Greenville, SC.

Tal Hendrix MD - Dr. Hendrix is a respected, fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon in Jackson, MS specializing in Shoulder and Elbow conditions, as well as, sports injuries. Dr. Hendrix returned to Jackson after completing his sports medicine fellowship training with the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas in Greenville SC and joined Capital Orthopaedic.
Charles Delbert “Chad” Hosemann III, MD MD - A native of Jackson, Dr. Hosemann attended The University of Mississippi, earned his Medical Doctorate from The University of Mississippi Medical Center and completed his Orthopaedic Residency at The University of Alabama-Birmingham. Dr. Hosemann underwent an additional year of specialty training in sports medicine under the tutelage of world-renowned orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. James Andrews and his partners, Dr. Lyle Cain, Dr. Bill Clancy, and Dr. Jeff Dugas.
Jeff Bedford - Mr Bedford is a seasoned Healthcare Administration with deep experience within large healthcare systems. Since joining Capital, Jeff has led the team in the development of a new clinic and surgery center set to open later this summer.
