Matt Hoyle has been around the orthopaedic and sports medicine business from a young age.  He grew up in Vail, Colorado where Dr. Hawkins and Dr. Steadman started up their partnership and the Steadman Hawkins Clinic.  Matt’s mom worked as their lead x-ray tech and Matt worked in their sports medicine foundation video department throughout high school.  After high school Matt attended film school and started a career in video production and news broadcasting.  After working for ABC and CBS news affiliates as a Special Project Photojournalist Matt joined Dr. Hawkins with his new venture in South Carolina and has been with the Hawkins Foundation ever since.  With a background in photography and video production Matt specializes in producing professional level content for research publication. 

Matt also runs the Hawkins Foundation Surgical Training and Innovation Center.  With 16 years of bioskills laboratory experience Matt is well known within the region by both physicians and device reps.  Matt takes pride in providing a top notch training experience and handles all the logistics needed so surgeons can focus on training and vendors on displaying their products without distraction. 

Outside of work Matt is very involved in youth ice hockey.  He is on the board of directors of Greenville Hockey and coaches multiple teams.  He was instrumental in launching the only girls ice hockey program in the state of South Carolina and recently lead a 16u girls team to a Southern League Championship.
